Bio

 

Gayle is a native of Philadelphia, PA and a graduate of The National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts' acting program located in Washington, D.C. and Howard University (Sociology and Psychology). She also finished The Source 10-Week Business and Audition Technique Class with Paul Michael. In addition, she completed Monologue and Scene Study at the New Federal Theatre.

Gayle is excited about her off-broadway debut as Ester in The Promised Land. She is also honored to have understudied such roles as Judith B. Kaufman/An American Daughter at Arena Stage and Rose/Fences at Round House Theatre. A partial list of other stage performances include: Francine/Lena (Clybourne Park), Elizabeth Borney (The Old Settler), Ms. Leah (Flyin' West), and Electra/Polyxena (Tantalus).

A few of the numerous local commercials Gayle has been seen in are for Koons Ford, Honda, Flagstar Bank, Comcast, and Tysons Watch and Jewelry Exchange.

Industrial films include work between Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia for the Washington Hospital Center, Sylvan University, Johns Hopkins University, University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, National Institute of Health and the American Red Cross.

Some television and film credits include the role of a dignitary on the Netflix series House of Cards, and appearances in the HBO special Something The Lord Made, the NBC mini series The West Wing, the Simple Life, and Syriana.
